This year we haven’t been able to attend Microsoft inspire, which is taking place in Las Vegas, but this doesn’t stop us from bringing you the latest developments around Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Dynamics 365 Business Central.
As we have heard, Microsoft has announced new locations for Business Central for this year, 2018. Specifically, this July will see the release of the Global Extension (W1) and the localisation of South Korea (through partners). These two new versions are added to Australia and New Zealand who had also been announced for this July.
The developments arrive in autumn, when Microsoft will present the locations of Mexico, Iceland and Norway. They have also announced locations for the end of the year, which will be carried out through partners, for Thailand, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Ireland, Singapore, UAE, South Africa, Philippines, Poland, Japan, Taiwan and Malaysia.
In addition, it has been confirmed, as expected, that this autumn we will be able to get the on-premise version of Dynamics 365 Business Central. As a development, it will be possible to connect the on-premise version with cloud solutions on Azure via “Intelligent Edge“, in such a way that all of the Azure services will be accessible from a traditional on-premise computer. We’ll see how this news unfolds.
Remember that, since 2nd April, Business Central has already been availablein the following countries: Spain, Canada, United States, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Holland, Sweden, Switzerland and United Kingdom.
