EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) is a standard format for exchanging business documents such as purchase orders or invoices between two companies electronically, i.e. without paper. Using EDI, information is transferred directly from one company’s ERP to the other company’s ERP, providing a solution for B2B scenarios. EDI standards are responsible for defining the format of the information to be exchanged.

What does Golden EDI provide?
Golden EDI enables the exchange of documents via EDI directly in Dynamics 365 Business Central. This Microsoft-certified app works with all possible document types: from purchase orders and invoices to order responses, shipping notifications and price lists, among others.
It is an application that can be used independently of the customer’s industry. The novelty provided by Golden EDI is that it not only offers connectivity with Business Central, but also acts as a communications broker through its own platform deployed on Azure that orchestrates the entire flow and logic with formats and translations between the parties.
Thus, with a single solution it is possible to respond to the entire EDI circuit from start to finish as it is responsible for receiving and sending EDI documents and all the communication process that happens in the meantime.

Licensing and Fees
Golden EDI licensing includes both the connection to Business Central, the management of communications between the parties and all the additional pre-packaged content it provides.
Subscription options are delimited by trading partners to be connected and messages to be exchanged at the following rates
